Wollen beanie; ribbed pattern with an ornamental closure.
The beanie is manufactured by Marta in a small knitting studio in Lodz. It is manually made, although the process involves a machine. It is man-operated, though. It won’t close a mesh or take more wool on its own. Working with this machine requires a lot of precision, knowledge and dedication from a user – just like manual knitting. Computers are not involved in the creation process and all calculations are made by Marta based on her experience and multiple test attempts. Once the knitting is ready, the beanie is sewn together manually.
Creation of such a beanie is not as easy as it may seem. This is not as simple piece of knitwear sewn together on top. Each mesh is carefully calculated and needs to appear in one specific place. Then you need to transfer it from a needle to a needle and make new calculations in a new row. Due to this, creation of the ornamental closure takes actually longer than the rest of the beanie.
The hat is made from very delicate wool – a mix of alpaca, which will keep you warm, and silk that makes it very delicate and nice in touch.

Clothes are made by hand, often after placing an order.
The order processing time is up to 14 working days from the date of payment for the order. However, if we are able to ship your order sooner, we are happy to do so. If the time matter is pressing, write an email or call us, maybe we can speed up the process.
