Fabric & Care
Fabric: 100% Tencel® (made in EU); grammage: 155
Tencel is a trademark of a fabric widely known as lyocell. Lyocell is produced from wood cellulose. During the production process, the cellulose is dissolved. However, it’s different from viscose production process – especially when it comes to substances used. For viscose production the solvents are corrosive substances while in the process of lyocell production NMMO solvent is used – it’s non-toxic and safe and can be almost completely re-used. Moreover, the production process of lyocell requires relatively little water (ca. 260l/kg). Clothes made from lyocell take only 6 weeks to decompose when composted. The fabric has great breathing properties; the fibres optimally absorb moisture and regulate the temperature thanks to what clothes made of lyocell can be worn in every season. Wash in a washing machine in 30 C. It can slightly shirnk in the first wash so it is best to wash them manually in cool water.
